Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers we need in order to run the shop:

  • Payment processing — our payment provider processes your card payment and carries out fraud checks.
  • Delivery — Royal Mail and any other carrier we use receive the name, delivery address and contact details needed to deliver your parcel.
  • Website hosting and email — our hosting and email providers store the data on our behalf.
  • Analytics and advertising — Google and Meta receive usage data where you have consented to analytics and advertising cookies.
  • Professional advisers and authorities — our accountants, and any authority we are legally required to disclose information to.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred abroad, it is protected by UK adequacy regulations or by standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and tracking

Essential cookies keep your basket and your login working, and cannot be switched off. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the banner, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — though the shop may not work properly without the essential ones.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for six years after the end of the relevant tax year, as UK tax law requires. Contact-form and support messages are kept for up to two years. Mailing-list data is kept until you unsubscribe. Account data is kept until you ask us to close the account.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to have it transferred to another provider, and to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@mavronstudio.com. We will respond within one month. Making a request costs nothing.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection, access to order data is restricted to people who need it, and payment details are handled entirely by our payment provider. No system is perfectly secure, but we take these measures seriously.

Children

This shop is intended for customers aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes affecting how we use your data will be communicated by email where we hold your address.
